I was asked to come in for questioning. As soon as the two detectives Travis Laverne(Calcasieu Parish Sheriffs office) and Detective Gaulet( Westlake Police Department) entered the interview room I was asked to sign a waivers of my rights to which I stated that I'm not comfortable doing that. I called attorney Blake Hale and he told me to ask the detectives if I am being detained to which the detectives reply No. The attorney Blake Hale told me to ask if I'm being arrest to which the detectives reply No. Then Mr. Hale told me to tell them that im going to his office to speak with him and we'll set up a time later on today to meet with you with Mr. Hale(attorney) present. To which the detective Laverne said we'd rather you not we want to close our case today. To which the attorney said I rather you would get up and come to see me at my office. Which I got up and started to leave detective Laverne stood up grabbed my purse throw it out the door charged me 3 felonies as he put me in cuffs. In handcuffs I was escorted thru the building out the back doors put in the back of police cruiser. When officer got into the cruiser he read me my rights. I sat 98 days in jail and my attorney at that time Bobby Holmes(Paid attorney)(Cheif of Ligations for the DA office)made a deal that the DA release from custody and drop all charges if I made a statement which I agreed. Which I did but the DA didn't uphold their end of the deal. Before Bobby went over to the DA's office he set another interview to which the DA offered to drop all charges again. I agreed turned over written letters from co defendant and made statements number two with Laketha Holmes(attorneyBobby'swifetookcasebobbytookjobwithDA). Again the detective Laverne and Jacob Johnson(ada) did not up hold their end of the bargain. Then Laketha Holmes(paid attorney)took a job with Allen parish DA office. Which left me with no attorney, a conflict of interest due to Bobby and Laketha both going to the DA office. Which recused the DA office an attorney General is standing in for the DA. They are 2 recorded meetings one at westlake pd with just detective Gaulet and me when I went in to tell them the photo the released to the public was of the victim not the man they had arrested. The two one was the video recording of Dec 6 2019 that i came as I was asked to do. Both recording were said to be turned over as evidence but neither of them were in my discovery at all.
