I was sitting at the boat laughing in my car as I do every morning. Grab coffee and look at the water. I came into the boat launch seeing the officer to my right. Did not think anything of it. I have license and insurance. I sat for a few min and slowly proceeded to drive around and out of the boat launch. Now my car is completely tinted and as I said before he was on my right. I turned left my front windshield was not in view of the officer. He slowly proceeded to follow me. He turned his lights on and pulled me over. Told me because I'm not wearing a seat belt. As I told him I literally just started to pull away from the launch. There was an incident a few days before where several officers tried to force me to let them in my home to look for a suspect. He was one of the officers involved. We had an altercation bad enough to where I had to call 911 for a supervisor to make them leave. He threatened me and said that he could tow my car and arrest me for a seat belt violation. After which he did arrest me for a bench warrant from a ticket a year or so ago that I had forgotten about. He basically forced an altercation. I have no real record besides traffic infractions. I felt profiled and humiliated. The spot is notorious for people doing wrong and illegal things but I am not one of those people. I don't feel safe in my own community. I can't legally drive my vehicle without being treated like a criminal. I had to bond out of jail just because he was angry and hateful. The officers at the jail were basically telling me he could've just o.r me. I do have video as well. I respect law enforcement I would hope they did the same for citizens. They should not be harrowing us and forcing an interaction. Once he noticed there was nothing other then a seat belt he made it his personal vendetta to make it worst for me.
