Statement

On or about 8/23/13 Officer M. Stonitsch conducted an unlawful traffic stop and abused his authority as a LEO. He detained the driver and passenger for nearly 20 minutes, allowing his relative to enter the traffic stop and bulling the occupants of the vehicle. After approximately 15 minutes, Officer Stonitsch demanded the driver forfeit his fourth amendment rights, by producing identification without any reasonable suspicion. Victim requested supervision numerous times. Officer Stonitsch delayed calling for his supervisor for several minutes, insisting the victim needed to explain the reason for the request. The lieutenant arrived at the scene, ended the traffic stop and appeared to ignore the violations of his officer. Victim left without receiving a citation. Violations of the victim(s) Fourth, Fifth and Fourteenth Amendments duties.
