In full camouflage and with NO identification of a law enforcement identification, I happened upon my ATV on the back of my property where I witnessed a red headed 6’0-6’2 male on my property and inside the cab of my side by side. I had an AR15 in my truck and put the intruder in my crosshairs. I screamed,” get on the fucking ground”!At which point he complied with his hands raised. As I cleared the door of my truck and took him off target to approach with my gun and phone in hand, he dropped to the ground and started running towards the tree line behind the ATV. I saw his weapon come over his left shoulder as he ran. I heard the zip of 7 shots as he retreated to into the woods that the individual fired from his pistol. I emptied 36 rounds from my AR and my .357 magnum. My truck, caught 2 rounds, 1 of his rounds passed through my shop and lodged in my house footing and 4 hit the wall and AC unit of my house. Not once did this idiot ever say law enforcement, sheriffs department, nothing. I only recognized this Task Force officer from a relative who upon my description, showed me a photo from Facebook that night. There was never a report or contact made with me. There has never been a single inquiry made. I am making this public because of corruption within our Sheriff Department and evidently it’s Task Force members.He could have been killed and so could I. Later I saw Josh Griffin and knew without a doubt that he was the idiot on my property without a warrant , probable cause or ANY IDENTIFICATION OF LAW ENFORCEMENT. Due to lack of trust and transparency inside this Sheriff’s office in Panola County I remained silent until now. I pray that whoever receives this complaint will help me shed light on this corruption before it causes someone to lose their life
