On 7/17/2020,Officer Chavis false arrested me (Sonja Floyd Keith) without probable cause. He used excessive force to remove me from my car. In the process, he yelled,screamed and threw me against my car. When in the cuffs, he struck me in my back while taking me to his car. Mark Agrello and James McCree helped him. Moreover, Chavis out his flashlight directly into my eyes and my teenage daughter as an abusive tactic. Robert Chavis submitted false statements to his supervisor alleging disorderly conduct and resisting arrest when a criminal act never occurred to warrant an arrest. A hearing on 5/25/2022 revealed that he was lying under oath and the documents were not true. Judge Capps adjudicated not guilty and no probable cause to form the arrest.
