During the past 2 2-1/2 years, Officer Sam Everett Claunch has made some very inappropriate and mentally disruptive comments to an individual who he knows very well. The first major incident that occurred with this officer was when he removed his Taser from his duty belt to use it to retrieve an emotional support animal from under the individuals roommates bed. He then proceeded to play with the emotional support animal (Cat) because as Officer Claunch later stated, it brought the cat joy. In another later incident the officer was talking to the individual once again where the individual was reporting a Civil Protection Order Violation. Officer Claunch told the individual to "Get Over It" and that "Nothing would ever happen" to the person who was being reported. The incident that Officer Claunch was refferencing the individual to get over was when the individual who he was talking to was assaulted. Officer Claunch has repeatedly told the individual that he does not care about him and has even told him that "He would not live" if the individual ever came near his home.
