Former Deputy Attorney General Eric Cohen didn’t share text messages that might contradict charges against an Essex County Prosecutor’s office detective, court fillings say
To ensure fair trials the Supreme Court of the United States created the Brady doctrine obligating the prosecutor of every case to investigate, gather, and disclose all information about any individual upon whose testimony they will rely.
The New Jersey Brady List is the definitive public-facing platform of record for information about officer misconduct, decertification, public complaints, use-of-force reports, do-not-call listings [Giglio letter], and more potential impeachment disclosures.
This platform is available as-a-service to all Peace Officer Standards & Training [POST] Departments, Prosecutors, and Law Enforcement Organizations [LEOrgs].
