Randy Evers resigned from YCSO in May 2016 prior to a finding that Deputy Evers was not being truthful in his statements to a defense attorney in regard to the use of issued equipment. The subsequent investigation revealed numerous discrepancies and inconsistencies in Deputy Evers statements and claims pertaining to the condition and use of his issued camera and audio recording devices.
