To ensure fair trials the Supreme Court of the United States created the Brady doctrine obligating the prosecutor of every case to investigate, gather, and disclose all information about any individual upon whose testimony they will rely.

The Arizona Brady List is the definitive public-facing platform of record for information about officer misconduct, decertification, public complaints, use-of-force reports, do-not-call listings [Giglio letter], and more potential impeachment disclosures.

This platform is available as-a-service to all Peace Officer Standards & Training [POST] Departments, Prosecutors, and Law Enforcement Organizations [LEOrgs].

The Arizona Brady List includes all known issues of police misconduct, do not call status, decertification, public complaints, use-of-force reports, and citizen reports. Arizona is not in compliance with the nationwide, public-facing, platform of record: The Brady List; or:

Supreme Court of the United States [SCOTUS] Brady doctrine (1963);
US Freedom of Information Act 5 U.S.C. § 552 (1967);
Arizona Public Records Law §39-121 et seq.;
Open Government Act S. 248 (2007);
Open Government Initiative (2009); and,
Open Government Directives (2009) issued by the United States Department of Justice.

Prosecutors have ethical obligations and may be held individually accountable under the Rules of Professional Conduct [R.P.C.] for their conduct within the legal system. Violations of these Rules can result in disciplinary actions which may include sanctions, suspension, or disbarment.
