On or about January 18, 2017, Archie Ledon Cole Jr. PLEAD GUILTY to one count of POSSESSION OF CHILD PORNOGRAPHY in Creek County District Court case # CF-2016-00151. He was sentenced to 10 years will all but one year suspended and upon release must register as a sex offender.
On January 19, 2017 News6 Reported:
A former Oilton police officer has been sentenced for possession of child pornography. Court records show Archie Cole Jr. pleaded guilty in Creek County court and was sentenced Wednesday, January 18, 2016.
Cole was sentenced to 10 years with all but the first year suspended. He will have to register as a level 1 sex offender upon release from prison.
On April 6, 2016 News6 Reported:
A police officer working in Oilton is in jail on a complaint of possession of child pornography.
The Oilton's city website lists Archie Cole Jr. as a full-time police officer.
The state Attorney General's office confirmed to News On 6 that Cole confessed to an investigator Wednesday that he had child porn. He was then arrested and booked into the Creek County jail.
Cole's CLEET Licensing was REVOKED in 2016 after his initial arraignment.
