Statement
From 2009 to 2011, a corruption probe of the Tulsa Police Department resulted in multiple police officers being accused of criminal behavior. Additionally, at least 48 people have been freed from prison or had their cases modified due to civil rights violations or potential problems with their cases. Four officers were sentenced to serve time in federal prison after the criminal phase of the corruption probe. Thirty men and women had convictions vacated in Tulsa, Oklahoma due to wide-range police misconduct between 2003 and 2009.
Tulsa Police Officers Sean "Sticks" Larkins, Frank Khalil, and Shawn Hickey were named as "Unindicted Co-conspirators" in a 62 count Federal Indictment of Jeff Henderson and Bill Yelton. Larkins later became famous for his role on A&E's Live PD despite the Federal Prosecutor's banning him from testifying due to credibility issues for his roles in the 2009 Tulsa Police corruption scandal where he allegedly participated in four (4) of the alleged conspiracies.
"According to the Tulsa World, Larkins was one of the officers who became compromised and barred from testifying in federal court due to his involvement as an unindicted co-conspirator in a police corruption probe that became public in November 2009." - abajournal.com
"The jury had heard the names of both witnesses, Officer Frank Khalil and Sergeant Sean Larkin, before they testified. That's because former ATF agent and admitted dirty cop Brandon McFadden, testified he had seen both Khalil and Larkin do illegal things. Both Khalil and Larkin both denied any wrongdoing and neither man has been charged with a crime." -News On 6
Larkin now hosts the TV show "On Patrol: Live" by REELZ, with Dan Abrams, despite his credibility issues.
