Statement

Officer Bill Yelton was indicted by the Eastern District of Arkansas on charges stemming from a federal corruption probe into the Tulsa Police Department.   The indictment alleges Jeff Henderson and Bill Yelton conspired with one another from May 2004 until  July 2010 to deprive individuals of their civil rights and conspiring to suborn perjury.  Two charges in the indictment allege that Henderson and Yelton conspired to commit witness intimidation, that Yelton brandished a gun and while racking it made comments to the effect that McFadden needed to go back to Lubbock, Texas and keep his mouth shut..

Tulsa Police Officers Sean "Sticks" Larkins, Frank Khalil, and Shawn Hickey were named as "Unindicted Co-conspirators" in a 62 count Federal Indictment of Jeff Henderson and Bill Yelton.
