Statement

On or about January 18, 2022, an email was receive by District Attorney Laura Thomas containing complaints that OKDHS Case Worker, Sharita Williams,  participated in the following acts of misconduct:

  1. Perjury in Payne County District Court
  2. Conspiracy to commit perjury in Payne County District Court
  3. Intentionally falsifying information in OKDHS reports.
  4. Failure to report referral of physical abuse to a minor and threats to minors

Other individuals involved in these act include:

  • OKDHS Case Worker Jesse Anderson
  • Westwood Elementary Teacher Tara Williams
  • Stillwater Police Officer Sharae LeJeune
  • OKDHS Supervisor Ayanna Strickland
