Statement

Kansas Child Support has routinely failed to represent my interests in child support enforcement. 1. they have reduced the amount of child support without a proper hearing until I challenged them. 2. They have failed to respond to multiple requests for accounting documentation so that I may file for interest as legally allowed by Kansas Statutes, 3. Child Support Case Workers are biased and make decisions based on emotion instead of law - ie - my ex husband has reported having cancer - although he has not missed ANY work, employer has failed to make weekly payments -however, case worker said - maybe he wasn't working - he is sick you know - REGARDLESS of the law that he is still required to make the payment weekly. I have pointed out to child support that of 52 weeks last year I did not receive child support 15 weeks - without any repercussion to the employer. Child support has also failed to include any bonuses or other payouts in the IWO - it should be included as well. I have complained, I have called and always dismissed. The children are who are represented in this action, and the two parties should not have any bearing on the actions of child support. If I were ILL and had cancer and couldnt work - they would not INCREASE the support. I have had two diabetic daughters during this entire case and never once was that taken into consideration. I want to be heard and feel that CSE pretends that those receiving child support are getting a gift....listen to the call where the case worker told me to be glad I was getting any payments at all.
