I was pulled over pulling out of a gas station with no probable cause while using blinker and using proper lanes. Unfortunately for the officer. His dash cam records the only traffic infractions committed. Committed and recorded without a blinker to boot.
I was aware this was a bad stop from start. This officer had me in cuffs thrown against his car in under 2 1/2 min. Hurting my neck and throwing me into utter shock. I have a condition that was triggered so badly at first-my rights were immediately violated. I was mocked, physically hurt, verbally abused, threatened & searched under my bra. All due to the officer demanding my ID and my comprehensive capabilities at that moment it was a lot to process.. I tried to get my wallet from my back seat twice. He ordered me out of my car and refused to let me. Lied on the PR stating I wanted to let my dog out.
I never even got the chance to explain why I wanted to open the back door. I was trying to tell him that my service dog will not jump out. I just needed to reach back to grab my wallet. He denied me access. Im still processing at the time this was all so wrong.
He mocked me “want to hear a cool story? Your going to jail, your jeep is getting towed and throwing your dog into the pound”
My 122 LB course/German trained, European Doberman pincher. He listened to me cry about my utter fear for her safety as I felt this man becoming a true threat to my being.
“Do you want to hear hear a cool
Story?? You are going to jail, your jeep is getting towed and I’m throwing your dog into the pound”

“GIVE ME YOUR ID RIGHT NOW!! YOU ARE WASTING MY TIME!!!”

He lied about my plates, he lied about any signs or smell of drinking. He retaliated against me many times but the DUI was the most hurtful. I told him my elderly neighbor was drunk
Which she was. She had gotten into a heated political Trump conversation. Why I decided to leave a bit earlier and de escalate that situation. I just need to get a little gas before heading back home.
I committed no infraction whatsoever. I was stalked and then ransacked because they were bored. You can hear another officer actually say… “DAMN IVE been wanting a DUI ALL DAY!”

The Illinois Freedom of Information Act, enacted in 1989 and recently updated in 2010, is a series of laws designed to guarantee that the public has access to public records of government bodies at all levels in Illinois. The updates effective in 2012 greatly strengthened the act. The law requires each public agency to nominate an officer to be the official keeper of public records, as well as complete an online training course, established by the attorney general. The act defines public records as all records, reports, forms, writings, letters, memoranda, books, papers, maps, photographs, microfilms, cards, tapes, recordings, electronic data processing records, recorded information and all other documentary materials under the control of any public body.

Anyone can request public documents but the Illinois Freedom of Information Act is not supposed to be used to further a commercial enterprise, violate individual privacy, or disrupt the day-to-day working of the public body. Government agencies must either comply with or deny a written request for public records within five working days after receiving it.
