Official CLEET Revocation Documents state:
- "That on or about March 5,2020, Chief Marshall Cowan of Healdton PD notified CLEET that Respondent had not graduated high school nor obtained his GED and was not eligible for certification."
- "an investigation was conducted by CLEET investigator James Holloway where it was confirmed that Respondent had not graduated high school as he had indicated in his Reserve Academy application and therefore, was not eligible for certification."
- "That Respondent was untruthful in his Reserve Academy application."
Pursuant to 70 OS 3311(J)(1)(d), “A police or peace officer shall be subject to disciplinary action to include a denial, suspension, revocation or acceptance of voluntary surrender of peace officer certification upon a showing of clear and convincing evidence for the following: falsification or a willful misrepresentation of information in an employment application or application to the Council on Law Enforcement Education and Training. records of evidence, or in testimony under oath.”
