Court Documents filed on 10/03/2022 indicate deputies under the supervision of Sheriff Chris West participated in the execution of a search warrant on a man who, after being the victim of a Facebook hack in August of 2021, the Plaintiff not only reported the hack to both Facebook and the OKCPD, he was CLEARED of any wrongdoing by both organizations.

On January 12, 2022, armed Canadian County Deputies burst into the man's home, detained the man and his family, and seized every computer and electronic item contained in the family's home.

This was not the only accusation of unlawful search and misconduct involving computers and electronics by Canadian County Sheriff Office.  Although these court documents do not name the deputies who actively participated in this act.
