Per a social media post from Sheriff Gary Dodd on the JCSO official Facebook Page,  "Deputies intercepted the suspect driving east near Egypt Road and Dunn Lane." just prior to Deputy Ty Richeson's involvement in a use of force incident involving the elderly male subject. The subject sustained injuries "needing special medical attention" Including a broken hip and head lacerations.  The subject was medically released on his own recognizance by Judge Wallace Coppedge in order to receive necessary medical treatment.  "Deputy Richeson sustained a broken right hand among other injuries."
