I'd like to bring the behaviors of Johnson County Sheriff's Department Vienna,IL to the public. On 9/27/2023 Badge number 449 issued a traffic stop for speeding. The officer requested mine and my wife Caitys registration and license. At which point my wife (whom is pregnant) opens the glovebox to produce registration. The officer notices my Glock 17 MAGAZINE in the glove box. Officer 449 acknowledged the fact that it was a magazine by stating "where's the fucking gun" and "if either of you try anything I'll shoot you dead right here." He then unholsters his firearm. He did not raise the gun however it was unholstered. I am a resident of Georgia where all my firearms are legal. In accordance with Illinois law the firearm was in a seperate locked container and a glovebox is identified as a "case" by Illinois law.
