I filed an complaint against an officer Officer Dahnke with Redding Police Department on grounds of an unlawful Traffic Stop, and made up ticket due to her untruthfulness, and abuse of power .SHASCOM also lied to the officer , or the officer.lied about SHASCOM informing her that " I .hostile to police" when I have never been involved with police. before , either Dahnke being untruthful, or SHASCOM being untruthful, put me in a Dangerous situation defaming my character , seems there is a pattern of this , which is very troubling to say the least , because I am a law abiding citizen. I received a notice from Brian T Barner the police chief of Redding Police department stating he exonerated his officer of the misconduct I filed against her in my complaint , this is an abuse of power , and neglect on his part to not have conducted an proper investigation on his officers, and refusing to turn over her Brady material to cover up his officer's misconduct, mentioning the only way I'll be able to get her record from him is to file a motion with the court , It has also come to my attention that Chief Brian T Barner is also listed on the Brady List for having a troubled history, this is very concerning, and it further make exasterbates the ongoing problem within the department , it only shows us citizens that the officers can perform themselves in an unlawful manner , as long as they have a troubled police chief to cover up their misconduct . The Police chief is non -compliant with the public facing platform of record it appears he is not familiar with the Brady Doctrine , Brady v Maryland , California law has always upheld that officers of the law have a constitutional duty to disclose all exculpatory evidence, and impeachment materials (Brady Material) on all officers who have sustained history of misconduct , those records are to be disclosed whether the defense requests it or NOT! This Chief is obviously in violation, which makes me question what does his record hold. Once again I am requesting Dahnke's Records be disclosed to me , i can be reached at my number listed , and email. And a secondary complaint not through the department has been refilled against Dahnke with a witness statement to attest to her disturbing behavior which is far from that of a normal peace officer. She acts like a Rogue Cop. I am requested a proper , thorough investigation be conducted against this officer, not by the professional standards unit which comprises of a tall white lanky detective that looks like he is on drugs, and a small.mexican detective who is very sneaky, combative, and tries to coerce people into believing their lies, these officers in the professional standards unit, needs to be replaced, they work with the cops.im covering up their misconduct. Instead of accounting for their officers actions, these detectives have no integrity, fortitude , nor can they be trusted. They are too shady.. the police chief cannot be trusted either . I have a witness that can attest to that because he has experienced the same incident with these same detectives. Corruption seems to run amuck at that station
