This incident happened in East Palestine Ohio. Columbiana County...i was on a vacation visiting a friend. He set up a buy transaction. After leaving what i thought was a tools transcation/ trade... my friend and I left and pulled into dollar general. As I open door to exit, 2 traffic police came up from both sides....he told me not to get out......he then proceeded to put me in handcuffs and on the back of cop Carr. I asked not to have to go in and for what I was being arrested. He said I will know soon enough. He left me in thee for another 5 min until Haueter arrived. He wasn't happy with my lack of information. But clearly by his questions I ascertained he heard all the conversation that was had in the house. He proceeded to search vehicle. He found .1 of meth and asked if mine....I said no .he said I don't believe u. He arrested me and the driver. No traffic citation was given. In my bag that he refused to let me take with me, was my ID and social security card. Also my Tablet that my friend whom is a Veteran said I could use. The tablet came with a keyboard which was mine. He confiscated both. When i was released my ID nor ss card was on my belongings. I contacted the East palestine police department asking for the return of them. He ignored my requests for weeks. Finally i called his supervisor and was able to get my ID back....not my ss card. However due to the fact that in his report it had my SS number on it. I never gave it to him. He also sent the tablet back to the Veterans., without permission. And without a warrant to search it. He doesn't believe in Warrants. He didn't have one to search that or for arrest. I was able to question him during my preliminary hearing. He told me " I don't need a Warrant. I Got Probable cause".... also had no justification for traffic stop.
