Investigator Americo Rico Costantino was arrested at his home for disturbing the peace after threatening to kill the Chief Investigator at the Nevada Taxicab Authority Ruben Aquino. Costantino barricaded himself in his residence and was arrested and booked. Costantino also threatened suicide and was placed on an involuntary psychological hold pending a mental health evaluation. Costantino has also had restraining orders and past workplace violence complaints filed against him. Prior to his arrest Costantino was fired from Taxicab Authority for false statements and fraud and was reinstated after filing a lawsuit. In 1990 Costantino was fired from North Las Vegas Police Department after 1 year for excessive force and a wrongful death lawsuit filed in 1988.
