Officer Jon Bailey entered the home of Mr David Ulrick on or about June 29th 2021 as part of a background investigation for a firefighter position. I only have knowledge of some of the details as he does not know I am filing this., I know him from the gym I am a retired police officer and I want to remain anonymous. When Bailey entered he was accompanied by a young woman I heard she was an intern and is now working with the Secret Service according to her LinkedIn profile. As I heard, Bailey asked about his registered weapons and David showed them. Then Bailey and the intern left his residence. From what I was told Bailey and a motorcycle cop came back over 24 hours later, forced their way into his house demanding “I’m here to take your guns”. And also what I heard was that Bailey went into his safe that he shared with his wife who is some kind of federal cop, took David’s guns and then illegal seized his wife’s federal issued ammunition but left her loaded gun in the safe. I heard that the only reason Bailey took the ammo was because Dave told him to stop searching and not to take his wife’s ammo it’s federal government property, and Bailey got all cocky and said I’m taking it anyway she can come get it if she wants. I know he was charged with a felony for not securing a weapon near a child, but DCF was never notified? Dave has no idea I’m doing this, I don’t really know him that well but I know that officer Bailey has been demoted from detective to patrolman for tipping off a police sting operation the day before it was to happen. I think he was suspended too. I can’t find his name on the Brady list, does this mean that the police department never reported it to the DA? Any way, if you read Baileys report, from what I’ve heard the only 2 things that were true we that Bailey was there and Dave was there, everything else is a lie.
