While out peacefully trash picking, I was sitting parked in my vehicle with my dog. An officer made unlawful contact with me and I attempted using my rights upon contact stating i was not trying to challenge his authority but for what reason is the contact? I also attempted to record the incident which escalated Mr Lomax to forcefully removing myself from my vehicle and arresting me, impounding my truck and my service dog. Policing, profiling, and instigating the charges that came only after the unlawful interaction. I didn't have nothing to hide nor explaining as i was minding my own free business. On the police report it states known area for high drug traffic which after unlawfully searching my vehicle nothing was found which means he was wrong all together. Police should not do this create charges by interacting with ones peace and non criminal circumstances. The hardship of redeeming my self and other belongings has made my life terrible. Its unexcusable and the higher officers I've taken my complaint to including city council and the unjust judicial system just proves its about the money vs the freedom of the people to do as we please without worrying the police will create issues labeling one criminal. I tried to appeal it to take in to Supreme court which was made so difficult that the judge demanded my legal aide counsel to no longer assist going forward. Bias. City council Joe Meyer ignored my complaint and never followed up. I can't dismiss it for what its done to me and lord knows whom ever. Targeting poverty and minorities is nothing new fir Covington pd i want action please. Code of ethics violations i didn't receive all of my discovery and unjust bribery in the courts. All charges occured after the profiled encounter. That can't be public servants serving and protecting. For the people not against. I am disabled as well and my reactions were minimal figuring a grown man put his hands on me forcefully and pointed his fire arm because he wouldn't even tell me why he had made contact. RAS
