Statement
D.A. Neha Bhatia, on April 18, 2025 four days before my first pre-trial conference sent me an email stating, and I quote:
“I am in receipt of the emails submitted recently to my office and wanted to personally respond to some of your assertions and requests, though I am no longer the prosecutor assigned to your case. I am the prosecutor that reviewed your case for felony/misdemeanor charges. Originally, I had made the decision to not charge because I did not know that the OME stopped operations for over an hour due to your threat. That was the new information that was later relayed to me, that made me change my decision and charge you with the misdemeanor.”
Then, when I met with Assistant Bureau Chief Serena Serassio at my first pre-trial conference on April 22, 2025, she handed me the IR report that wasn’t blacked out, unlike the one I had previously received from the MCSO. The version the MCSO sent to me via email was redacted, so I could print out as many copies as I want of the blacked-out IR report and supplemental IR from MCSO. The only reason I now have an unredacted report is because it came directly from Serena Serassio on April 22, 2025, at my first pre-trial conference.
Furthermore, the last page of the report Serena Serassio gave me, labeled “ADDENDUM B1. PROBABLE CAUSE STATEMENT,” clearly states, and I quote:
“All operations at the OME, which included internal operations, and inbound/outbound traffic, were required to halt for approximately one and a half hours while the sweep was conducted.”
D.A. Neha Bhatia had no valid reason to reopen my case. She did it to retaliate against me because I have evidence that her department covered up my sister Jamesha Walton’s death. She was born December 25, 1984, and died March 25, 2000. I have an open case right now investigating my sister’s death, because in January 2024, my sister’s death was re-amended after her determination was proven incorrect by Deputy Chief Bridget Barbara Eutenier.
When I contacted the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office in December 2024, I was told that they had no record of my sister in their system. But I have proof that her documentation was sent to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office two days after the law firm my parents hired called the Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s Office and emailed them/letters requesting my sister’s reports. Kelly Nunes, who is my investigator at the Arizona Medical Board, just issued a subpoena to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office on April 25, 2025.
Errors in Plea Documentation and Court Time: The plea offer I received did not even include my correct legal name, and my paperwork lists my next pre-trial for 2:30 PM on May 27, 2025. However, upon checking the court’s online docket, it shows 9:30 AM. This discrepancy adds to the pattern of disorganization I’ve experienced. Plus my assigned Prosecutor Hailey Mount who was just sworn in five months ago was not even there and I was not even given no explanation as to why she was not at my First pre-trial April 22, 2025. And D.A. Neha Bhatia didn’t even disclose who my new Prosecutor was neither did Serena Serassio I didn’t find out who she was until looking at my paperwork.
Neha Bhatia tried to silence me and made me feel like my life was in danger.
