Statement

On 03/12/2025 i was traveling south on 10th ave in hanford, ca while making a right hand turn onto E lacey blvd a unmarked gold-colored, ford f150 came up behind me at a high rate of speed and activated red and blue emergency lights. i made right turn onto e 7th st. and then another right onto N. East st and pulled over at the corner on N East st/ and Visalia st . a man in plain clothes with a vest on approached my window yelling to roll it down witch is was halfway, without giving me a reason for stop, or identifying himself, was immediately aggressive and ripped my door open, pulled me out of vehicle put hand cuffs on and began digging into my pockets and told me my registration was expired, at this point he (B.Ward) preceded to wrench my wrist tighter in cuffs while shoving me around eventually to the front of his unmarked pick-up. Then while still holding my handcuffed wrist behind my back, told me to spread my legs, i told him that was all i could spread them, he then kicked my leg out from under me and before i could fall to ground yanked my handcuffed hands up behind my back towards my shoulders scratching my wrists, and straining my wrists and shoulder and slammed me against the grill and hood of his truck at this time officer Cesar Estrada joined in and grabed ahold of my left arm and proceeded to keep me pinned against the truck on my tiptoes screaming in pain and yelling for them to stop. after they finished there search, investigator Brett Ward continued to degrade me, call me a little bitch and just be an outright vulgar, unprofessional, disgusting person, i asked for a supervisor and medical attention was denied both untill i arrived at the jail , was transported to local hospital, where i received x rays and a shot to reduce swelling in my wrist. just to be returned to jail and released with a court date. both these officers acted unprofessional and used in my opinion unreasonable force on a person that was complying and already in handcuffs, i posed no threat to these officers, they were aggressive from the start and used force way beyond reasonable for the situation at hand, they are not above the law and they should be held accountable for their unprofessional actions.
