I was dropping off some present to some friends i the trailer park on 7200 s 1300 w he lives in the circleon the south east corner. When i arrived there was several cops and also fire trucks and an ambulance so there was no parking but i observed an officer get in his unit and start it like he was leaving after waitng several seconds he didnt move i decided to go and finish some shopping, then return when emergency services were gone so i turned right and perseeded to the heading north which connect another road heading east and west which leads to 1300 west as i turn right at the corner i notice the cop i waited for to move was now heading my way kind of quickly. No bother truck is a friends but legal so when you get to 1300 west the light from 7200 s on 1300 west backs up during this time not to mention right before chrismas so when i got to the stop sign before i can proceed the light has to turn green well the nephew of who i was going to see was in lone so after the light turned green probably 15 20 second after i stopped stayed and allowed me to turn in front of him so i turned right and proceeded to the green light turned my turn signal on and turned right and headed west on 7200 s as i get past the appartments i notice the cop from the neighborhood speeding towards me and turns on his lights. I pull over confused on why he pulled me over he stayed i failed to yeild for 3 seconds on 2 stop signs. Well lnowing for a fact id waited 15 20 seconds to turn because of traffic and the light being green and the fact theres only 1 stop sign and my friends nephew wich will tell you i waited for the light theres no way possible i could have not waited proper stop times. The officer simply states hes not gonna argue asks for my dl and paperwork which i gave him he went back to his squad car. With all the bull crap i forgot to let the officer know i had my legal personal fire arm in which i am entitled to carry in the vehical so terrified he shoot me i left the fire armin the truck on the floor and exited my vehical with my hands up waiving for the officer to come speak to me so i could make him aware of the fire arm. He exited his vehical returning to me he frisked me and asked me to stand behind my vehical another officer pulled up and started talking to me now the officer grabs his k9 mind you the stop was not a legal stop and how does me notifying the officer i had my firearm reasonable cause to search for drugs but he thought it was he graabbed his dog walks him to the truck and whistles twice to the dog anhe jumps on the back tire of the single cab dodge scratches jumps down and makes no effort to even sniff towards the truck.. now as i said before the truck is my girlfriends and shes had it parked pending a bankruptsy and had picked the truck up not even an hour before the incident because she had finished her court perceedings the day before. The person who had her truck also had my fire arm which was with me from a weekend prior and upon returning i didnt have time to dig it out of his truck i was late so i picked up the truck the gun now as far as i knew there was nothing but even after i told the officer on more than once i didnt give concent to searchthey did anyway. I wasnt concered about anything other than my rights i voiced that i didnt concent to search. I thought the truck was clean but after about 10 minutes the officer longmore after breaking my constitutional rights as an american manages to supposedly finds weed some where in the truck in which he never showed or provided evidence there was anything at all he walks up behind me grabbing me forcing my handsbehind my back sayingi was under arrest for possesion by restricted person now i had no ideah if there was as i stated i had picked up the truck had it very little time before the incident. But the owner of the truck later stated there may have been a tiny bit of weed but achknoleges it is hers if thete was. But being stressed out because i knew this cop made this stop up because the neighberhood i was in is known for drugs. Remember i am a legal citizen im entitled to be in public without fear of a public service officer illeagly or without probable cause for pulling me over and making up reasons to invade and seize my personal property and my friends truck with out articulated resonable cause to do so i start having a seizure . So i dont know why this officer is not trained to reconize the difference but i simply think he assumed i was over dosing either because my past or the neighborhood i was in both buti wasnt and havnt used drugs in 4 years assumed because my past and the neighborhood i was seen in he hit me with his shot ro revive a overdose which caused my siezure to worsen eventually blacking outi awoke with an ambulence panicing when i woke because my phone gun wallet was in the truck the ambulence stated the cop had it and would bring it to me later when he did and i was able to get to it i was missing money as well and to make me feel even more violated my phone had had the incorrect password typed so many times that i was locked out for 45 miinutes before i was given opertunity to type it again. Now the body cam if the officer followed law should give you all the proof you need about no reasonable cause also the shot he gave me i was throwing up for 4 days sick as hell had to miss work everything truck was impounded cost 600 to get out the tow truck company damaged the truck over 1500 in damage they refuse responsabilty . I definently dont feel like a safe free americanwith rights i feel like child with abusive parents. Still cant get an answer on where my gun is but the cop is trying to charge me for restricted person for evidents not only obtained without valid cause. But without my right thought about. I hope something is done because west jordan has done what they want for years breaking laws violating mine and every person they feel like harrasing. Im terified to be in west jordan not only for my life but also being falsly pulled over and my property seized. Ive also made a report to the doj west jordan pd . The oath taken in office prohibits these actions and had it been the other way i would be locked up for years. Accountability is a must and these officers need to understand laws and rights before they can inforce the laws without understanding both have no buissnes inforcing what they dont understand. Im also goinfg to send a letter to the mayor as well
