The officer was called out to handle a stalker (Christopher Roby) which was locked up in June for violating his probation involving a domestic violence case where he was found guilty. Officer Lawrence showed up and spoke with the suspect instead of me. She told me to go in the house and she would take care of it and did nothing but let him drive off. I received no case card or anything from the officer, I’m not sure if she knew the suspect personally or his mother which is a former Birmingham Police Officer, (Sgt.Roby). The officer did not do her job properly at all and as a civilian whose tax dollars pay for these services as a protection, I am livid about the way my safety was disregarded. She should not be an officer if she can not do her job properly or if she is too afraid to do it.
