Statement
Dear [Brady List Complaint Authority], I am writing to file a complaint against Officer Villone for falsifying a police report and making misleading statements on an official police arrest report. On 09/11/2020, Officer Villone was the arresting officer in a traffic stop involving the discovery of a miniscule amount of Marijuana. During the investigation, it was brought to my attention that Officer Villone made false statements and falsified information on the official police report regarding the location of evidence found. Specifically, once Officer Villone was informed by me of the presence of a camera on 9/15/2020, I recorded the interaction and Officer Villone reaffirmed that the report was “100%” accurate. Officer Villone amended the police report on 09/17/2020 and changed the locations of ALL three pieces of evidence found, which is a clear indication of falsification. Municipal Court Judge Harry Stylianou signed off on the changes without question and Prosecutor E. Carter Corriston pursued prosecution until legalization officially happened. If you read the first submitted report, Officer Villone knowingly and willfully attempts to pass details he knows to be false. The details he submitted first place all articles of evidence "within my view and sight". The second, and correct report paints the accurate picture and the contrast between what Officer Villone attempted to frame me with and the truth. These actions by Officer Villone, Judge Stylianou, and Prosecutor Corriston not only go against the integrity of law enforcement but also undermine the trust that the public has in the justice system. False and misleading statements on official police reports can have serious consequences, including the possibility of wrongful convictions and miscarriages of justice. I request that a thorough investigation be conducted into the actions of Officer Villone, Judge Stylianou, and Prosecutor Corriston, and that appropriate disciplinary action be taken. In my opinion, Officer Villone should be immediately terminated for his role in falsifying the official police report. The integrity of law enforcement and the trust of the public must be upheld, and those who engage in such behavior must be held accountable. Thank you for your attention to this matter. Sincerely,
