Richard Giannelli of the Rural Crimes Investigation Unit Of the Kern County Sheriff's Department, engaged in government overreach and abused his authority to violate my civil rights, and unlawfully seize my property. I advised Giannelli of my rights, which angered him. In retaliation for asserting my U.S. Constitutionally guaranteed, protected, fundamental rights, Giannelli, and his fellow Rural Crimes Investigation Unit designated Deputy District Attorney, Joseph J. Mendoza, filed a criminal complaint, requesting that I be charged with a felony. Giannelli and Mendoza both, included false information, and manufactured lies, which resulted in a bogus felony arrest warrant being issued for me. Had it not been for the lies, sworn to be true, under penalty of perjury, a warrant would not have been authorized. The charge requested by Giannelli and Mendoza, were not sought in the interest of justice, but instead is solely to retaliate, attack, intimidate, and ultimately to "teach me a lesson" for challenging their authority, by asserting my fundamental rights. I was arrested for the bogus felony arrest warrant, and subjected to a kangaroo court process, wherein despite my attempts to move forward with the case, I was subjected to 6 pre-preliminary hearings, where the public defender and prosecutor, would make sure I was the last case to be heard, (despite it only being a pre-preliminary hearing) only to make an excuse to not move on to preliminary but instead, schedule another pre-prelim so they can wear me down, in hopes I would accept a plea bargain. Eventually and IDP attorney was appointed, who appeared 977 for me, and that day the case was dismissed. (without a prelim being held, because the charge is bogus, and completely meritless). About 1 month after the case was dismissed, I was arrested again, for a felony warrant, because the District attorneys office refiled the bogus case 8 days prior. My vehicle was towed from a business parking lot, during business hours. It is impossible for me to be guilty of the charge filed against me, and it is obvious, this isn't about rather or not I will be convicted, but rather punishment by abuse of process, and intimidation. They are a disgrace to the justice system.
