I reported my truck stolen by my husband. Deputy Spencer Rider responded. My husband admitted to Rider that he had taken my truck and sold it to someone in Burlington Iowa, but couldn't remember products name ornumber. The deputy never took a statement from me. 2 days later Deputy Rider returns to my residence along with DNR official, at 11pm to inform me that he had spoke with the county attorney and he decided it was a civil matter. The truck was titled in my maiden name. 2 months later I revenge a letter from IOWA DOT in regards to the sale price of my truck. I informed the agent, Ben Slife, that my truck was stolen in August. He told me to complete a fraud claim. 5 months later, April 10th 2023, I had a civil case hearing in regards to said truck and Agent Ben Slife was unable to provide me a fraud report until April 12 2023 with a conclusion that, on recommendation of Darin Stater, that the claim was a civil matter. Yet he couldn't prepare the report in time for my civil case scheduled. My husband was allowed to transfer my truck into his name on a forged signature by Henry county treasurer. Henry county sheriff failed to , under scope of their duties, to protect me from a crime. The Henry county attorney used bias judgement in his conclusion if it being a civil matter and building of Iowa code 597.1 and married women and her property rights. I have never been compensated the value of the truck, $3000. The truck was never sold. My husband has it hidden in his brother's garage. I have photos from December 2022 of my truck parked at my husband's brother's. I am still a victim of this crime. My truck has never been replaced nor have I received $3000 as payment for my property. Darin Stater had failed to protect me from being a victim of abuse from my husband. He has violated the law by allowing my husband to forge my signature on the truck titled in my maiden name. And I want my property back.
