Max Cook claimed confidence in Shield's "professional ethics", despite his KNOWN misconduct, then maintained that the Judge and Deputies should hold culpability, while offering a variation of events vastly different then what Rogers County court exhibits show to have occurred.

On May 11, 2023, the Oklahoma Bar Association filed for Rule 6 Disciplinary action against Isaac Shields SCBD-7480 and George Gibbs Jr. SCBD-7481
