Statement
Max Cook confirmed to the Sapulpa Herald that he hired former Rogers County Assistant District Attorney, Isaac Shields, while having knowledge that Shields had committed prosecutorial misconduct, by spying on jury deliberations (a felony offense in Oklahoma).
Max Cook claimed confidence in Shield's "professional ethics", despite his KNOWN misconduct, then maintained that the Judge and Deputies should hold culpability, while offering a variation of events vastly different then what Rogers County court exhibits show to have occurred.
On May 11, 2023, the Oklahoma Bar Association filed for Rule 6 Disciplinary action against Isaac Shields SCBD-7480 and George Gibbs Jr. SCBD-7481.
