On or about November 10, 2023, Shawnee police officer, Gary Moore, was arrested and charged with possesion of a controlled substance with the intent to distribute. Formal charges were filed in Pottawatomie County District Court [CF-2023-00491A] on December 1, 2023.
His wife, Kristian Moore, was arrested on December 6, 2023 and charged with distribution of a controlled substance and possession. Formal charges were filed in Pottawatomie County District Court [CF-2023-00491B] on December 1, 2023.

According to officials, the Shawnee Police Department (SPD) has been working closely with the Pottawatomie County Sheriff’s Office and the District Attorney’s Office to investigate the allegations.
To ensure compliance with the Brady Doctrine, District 23 Attorney, Adam "Baby Hands" Panter, is constitutionally obligated to conduct a conviction integrity review and per Supreme Court Precedent to disclose potential impeachment evidence both perpetually and retroactively to ALL defendants.
