On or about February 22, 2023, a failure to appear/pay costs warrant was issued by Marietta Municipal Court out of Marietta, Oklahoma against Healdton Police Chief, Robert Roebuck, Jr.. The warrant was issued for Roebuck's failure to appear/pay costs stemming from a traffic citation issued on or about June 9, 2022 for offenses of speeding [20 miles over limit] and failure to perate with proper endorsement.
The status of the warrant was confirmed as ACTIVE via telephone confirmation with Stephanie at the Marietta City Hall on March 18, 2023.
Chief Roebuck was hired by Healdton City Manager, Gus Handke [Husband of District Attorney Melissa Handke], in approximately June of 2023. The small claims case was filed in 2019, even a rudimentary backround check would have revealed his financial issues to his potential employer.
