OKC FOX25 Reported on February 1, 2024 that Jacob Blazer (an 8 year veteran of the Shawnee Police Department) is facing charges following an investigation related to the couple allegedly setting their house on fire with the intent to collect insurance payout(s) back in July of 2023.
The news media reported that the couple face identical charges:
- False Reporting of a Crime
- Arson
- Endangering Human Life During Arson
- Conspiracy to Commit a Felony
Also reported were the following statements from the Shawnee Police Department:
As of the date of this report (02/15/2024) Court records only indicate a Probable Cause Affidavit filed [CPC-2024-00001], there is no indication that District Attorney Adam Panter (Aka: DA "Baby Hands") has formally filed any charges against the couple.
