Description: In the early months of 2021, Sgt. Radecky was issued I.A. complaints against him for failing to supervise and insubordination. Sgt. Radecky failed to fill shifts for road coverage which were intended to prevent officers from working alone. Sgt. Radecky failed to appear for the second phase of his fit for duty examination, which was an order given by the Chief of Police.
April of 2021, Sgt. Radecky consumed alcohol, while off duty, and was found to be in possession of a departmental issued firearm while being treated at a local hospital, which is a violation of department S.O.P.s. Sgt. Radecky had been issued numerous I.A. complaints, and sustained on several charges, including insubordination, conduct unbecoming a police officer, failing to cooperate and failing to supervise. As per department rules and regulations and standard operating procedures, the aggregation of the offenses met the requirement(s) for termination.
