Description: On March 27, 2022 police dispatch received a call from a concerned parent stating her daughter’s ex-boyfriend was threating to post an inappropriate video of her online if he didn’t speak to her. The parent was on her way to Kean University and was requesting officers to be on scene while she spoke with her daughter. Officers responded to the scene and spoke with the mother and the victim. During the conversation with the victim the officers confirmed there was a previous dating relationship, both parties involved were over 18 and the male was threatening to post a sexual explicit video of the victim on social media if she didn’t speak with him. Sgt. Fong did not respond to the scene of the call nor did he speak with his officers while they were on scene with the victim and the mother. Due to Sgt. Fong not directing his subordinates the call was not handled properly.
