Description: On November 25, 2022, while engaged in an act of domestic violence, Ofc. Schenck
committed the offenses of burglary, criminal trespassing, and harassment when entered the residence of the victim's boyfriend without permission. Ofc. Schenck then harassed the victim and her boyfriend verbally and engaged in a shoving match with the victim's boyfriend when he was told to leave the residence. The Clinton Township Police responded and Ofc. Schenck was subsequently arrested and charged with burglary, criminal trespassing, and harassment. In October of 2023, Ofc. Schenck was given PTI for the incident. An internal affairs investigation was conducted, which Ofc. Schenck declined to participate in. All the administrative charges, burglary, criminal trespassing, and harassment, were sustained. Ofc. Schenck has been separated from the department since December 12, 2022, when he resigned from the department on charges unrelated to this offense.
