Description: Officer Galbo was off‐duty on May 17, 2023. While at his residence he failed to secure his off‐duty firearm in a safe location knowing that there would be visitors at his residence on that specific date. Due to failing to secure his off‐duty firearm in a safe location, a theft of his off‐duty firearm subsequently occurred. Officer Galbo also failed to immediately report the theft of his off‐duty firearm immediately and waited approximately eight (8) hours to report the theft of his off‐duty firearm. Officer Galbo was suspended for twenty (20) days.
