This complaint is against District Attorney Travis Page for misconduct in a criminal matter arising in Gaston County.
The prosecution moved forward using an alleged State Bureau of Investigation witness, J. A. Alderman. A public records request to the SBI confirmed on March 18, 2026 that no records exist for that individual or any related investigative material. This shows there is no valid SBI agent or investigation supporting the case.
Additionally, a sitting judge, who is also the alleged victim in the matter, contacted the District Attorney identifying charges and stating that a message needed to be sent. This demonstrates bias and clear intent to use the prosecution to “teach a lesson,” which is not the role of a prosecutor.
There is no credible witness, no verified investigation, and no showing of harm, injury, or loss to any party. The only harm arising from this matter has been to me.
The prosecution was influenced and not based on independent judgment.
Continuing under these conditions shows dishonor, lack of neutrality, and failure to uphold the law. A District Attorney has a duty to ensure justice, not pursue actions based on bias or influence.
This conduct reflects misuse of authority, lack of probable cause, and intent inconsistent with holding office. He should be removed.
