On 1/2/2019 Officer Jorge Sobrino used unnecessary and unlawful force, punching a civilian under his care without cause. Officer Sobrino then followed up with a report making false statements about the incident and falsely arrested the victim. Officer Sobrino was fired and charged with one count of misdemeanor battery.
