Description: On June 25th, 2023 the officer was arrested and charged with shoplifting and underringing while off‐duty, in civilian attire, at a Walmart in Brick. Officer had been observed on surveillance at selfcheckoutnot scanning all of the items in the cart before leaving the store. Further investigation revealed that this was not the first time and officer was charged with 2 additional counts of shoplifting from different dates earlier in the month of June. The amount of items for all 3 shoplifting incidents totaled
more than $200.00. Officer resigned as part of an irrevocable separation agreement.
