Rule Violation

Description: On June 15, 2020 while off‐duty, Officer C. DeNoble made a false report to the Aberdeen Police Department regarding his supervisor, a Bayonne Police sergeant. Officer C. DeNoble was untruthful or had demonstrated a lack of candor while speaking to the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office during the investigation into the allegations. The Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office charged Officer C. DeNoble on September 9, 2020 with 2C:21‐17a.(1) Identity Theft, a crime of the fourth degree, and 2C:28‐ 4b.(1) False Reports to Law Enforcement, a crime of the fourth degree. Officer C. DeNoble was ordered to keep the Department apprised of the status of his criminal case every thirty days as required by Rules and Regulations which he failed to do which amounted to insubordination and violation of the Rules and Regulations. Officer C. DeNoble entered the Pre‐Trial Intervention program on April 11, 2022 in the
Monmouth County Superior Court. Officer C. DeNoble retired prior to imposition of discipline in September of 2022. Officer C. DeNoble later tried to return to active duty which was denied and finalized in 2023.
