Senior Investigator Gabe Sablica resigned in lieu of termination from the Nevada Taxicab Authority in 2022 for theft of a passengers lost personal property that was left in the back seat of a taxicab after a cab ride. The passengers property was jewelry valued over $15,000. An internal investigation was conducted that revealed a video of the incident and Investigator Sablica trying to conceal evidence. Investigator Sablica also falsifyied reports in regards to the incident.
