Former Deputy Kelly Wohlwend was terminated in 2015 for willfully violating YCSO’s residency policies for disobeying a supervisor’s order to complete reports before going on vacation for driving in excess of 20 miles per hour over the speed limit while transporting a prisoner for using a YCSO vehicle while on duty to give his girlfriend a ride and not reporting that vehicle usage or getting a supervisor’s advance approval and for using social media while on duty without supervisor approval and for abandoning his duty post while on duty (going home early) without telling anyone he had left his post.
