Statement
When entering the highway from 153rd Street onto Sedgwick Ave, there is no posted speed limit, and cars often drive fast, so you have to pull out doing at least 30-40 miles. Also, on the highway parallel to Sedgwick, the posted speed limit is 50. I was pulled over after my work shift, and when I asked the officer, he said I was speeding. I requested a warning because I never noticed a speed limit of 25 posted. The cop stated his camera is on, and when he returned, he spoke to me as if I was a criminal. He mentioned that he couldn't give me a warning because I have a long rap sheet. I explained that those cases were dismissed and sealed, so he couldn't see the outcome. I am currently a Fraud Investigator for DHS, so officer, the background you see on your computer is not reflective of my current situation. I felt disrespected and violated by his insinuations. I have a great driving history, and my last speeding ticket was about 20-24 years ago..
