On, or around, October 29th 2021 Walter Steele of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s (Jail Division) illegally accessed LexisNexis to conduct a search on two Idaho residents. He did also at the whim of his friend, and former sexual partner, who wished to gather personal information on her estranged daughter and her Husband. He gave information on credit, housing information, family information, and used the unlikely connections listed in the service to both his wife and friend. They then used that information to reach out to friends, business associates, and local law enforcement claiming her daughter was in imminent danger. Walter Steele also said that if anyone tried to pursue action against him that “things would get seriously bad for them”. FBI has been notified about that statement. This is the most recent in a long series of infractions Walter Steele has done. In 2014 he assaulted a man at a local bar, and plead guilty to disorderly conduct. After interviewing the witnesses they also claim members of the DA’s office, whom he was drinking with, said “if anyone wants to make cops their enemy’s then go ahead and pursue this”. A records request has been done for disciplinary action taken during that incident, but has not been responded to.
