I was traveling south on State Hwy 15. I had traveled approximately 200 yards when the sate troper speed up behind me. My passenger, Courtland Tanner Vaughan was in real time communicating with the officer I find out later. I was pulled over for " speeding" which I deny. On the citation, Zachary claims he clocked me with his radar which is untrue. Zachary works out of Troop F in New Albany Mississippi. Zachary is also well aware of my numerous complaints to his office of officer misconduct regarding Union Couty Sheriffs dept as well as 3 ongoing federal lawsuits against Union and Lee County officials for Civil Rights Violations. This stop was planned before I ever left my house. The claim was I was going 76 in a 55, which I deny. I presented my driver's licenses and proof of insurance and that was not good enough. Zachary kept insisting that I was under the influence of something. I was not under the influence of anything. Determined that he would find a way to lock me up he and another officer (unmarked car and unnamed and I question if he was actually law enforcement) My car was tossed, and multiple dash cams disabled. Zachary said he was going to have my car towed and he did. He placed me under arrest without a sobriety test (he did look at my eyes and had me stand on one foot) I have a disability with one foot that is set for surgery.) The passenger was given a ride to the Pontotoc County jail so he could wait for me to be released. Once at the jail after over an hour of wearing handcuffs that were placed as tight as they could be tightened. May complaints of pain went ignored and Zachary insisted I was under the influence of something. That something has yet to be known. I was forced to pay a bail bondsman 250. dollars for bond, pay someone to pick me up and another 200. dollars to the tow truck driver to get my car back. This was OBVIOUS retaliation for the federal lawsuits against Union and Lee Couty Mississippi Sheriffs depart and others. I offered to give a blood sample, urine sample or breathalyzer and non was given.
