Statement
Im an east cleveland police officer who has been indicted on 4 felonies and 8 misdemeanors charges for breaking a suspect cell phone i have been re indicted on these charges 4 times since September 1 2022 and still fighting this case as of 8-23-2024 and still dont have a trial date picked. Even as a police officer i should be entitled to my speedy trial rights and of 270 days and its been 723 days. The photo attached is all for the same case and how many times i been re indicted. Breaking the cell phone i should of been charged with criminal mischief or criminal damage.
