Robert H. Cleland was the prosecuting attorney during the trial of Fredrick T. Freeman (now Temujin Kensu) who was wrongfully convicted of the murder of Scott A Macklem. The murder occurred in a Port Huron college parking lot. In 2010, a federal habeas opinion was written by Hon. Judge Denise Paige Hood citing prosecutorial misconduct. by Robert Cleland.
